  • Awarded the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award

  • Former intern with Black Men for Bernie

  • Former behavior specialist at Waco ISD

  • His voter outreach initiatives has involved the Waco youth in local elections, and been adopted by several organizations, including the state NAACP


Notable Positions & Focus Areas

  • Boost the local economy by supporting small businesses, attracting new companies, advocating for higher wages, and providing job training

  • Address potholes, improving road signage, and ensuring bridges are structurally sound

  • Provide resources for efficient and fair elections, funding our public health care district, and continuing support for programs like the pauper cremations.





What does a Justice of the Peace do?


  • Adjudicate the class C misdemeanor criminal cases which are filed in their courts, including matters such as:

    • Driver's license suspension hearings

    • Deed restriction cases

    • Disposition of stolen property hearings

    • Arraignments on class C misdemeanors

    • Magistrate's emergency protective orders

    • Signing of probable cause warrants

  • A Constable is an elected peace officer who:

    • Serves court orders

    • Executes warrants

    • Provides security for courts and judges

    • Serves civil papers (like evictions, subpoenas, restraining orders, and property seizures)

    • Transports prisoners

    • Enforces state/county laws, often acting as a bailiff in Justice of the Peace courts and assisting other agencies, essentially bridging civil and criminal court functions at the county level
