  • Act as a legislator and manager for their specific precinct

Jeremy Davis

  • Born and raised in Waco

  • Former behavior specialist at Waco ISD

  • His voter outreach initiatives has involved the Waco youth in local elections, and been adopted by several organizations, including the state NAACP

Address our concerns, advocate for our needs, and ensure every voice in Precinct 2 is heard.


Positions & Priorities:

  • Boost the local economy by supporting small businesses, attracting new companies, advocating for higher wages, and providing job training

  • Address potholes, improving road signage, and ensuring bridges are structurally sound

  • Provide resources for efficient and fair elections, funding our public health care district, and continuing support for programs like the pauper cremations.


Considerations for Voters:

  • Jeremy Davis ran for this seat in 2024, and only lost by 446 votes.

    • Some have speculated that the very narrow margins for this precinct’s previous elections is the motivation behind the recent redistricting by the McLennan County Commissioner’s Court.

  • Holds a a background in public service, conflict resolution, and community advocacy

  • Believes her professional background has given her skills that will benefit Precinct 5:

    • the importance of expediency, compassion, competence, confidentiality, and professionalism

    • honesty, transparency, and integrity

    • proficiency in conflict resolution and legal documents

Create a justice system that respects everyone and works for everyone, and makes our court a place where people don't feel intimidated - but empowered

  • Mediation over unnecessary litigation

  • Respect and fairness for every case

What does a County Constable do?


  • A Constable is an elected peace officer who:

    • Serves court orders

    • Executes warrants

    • Provides security for courts and judges

    • Serves civil papers (like evictions, subpoenas, restraining orders, and property seizures)

    • Transports prisoners

    • Enforces state/county laws, often acting as a bailiff in Justice of the Peace courts and assisting other agencies, essentially bridging civil and criminal court functions at the county level



McLennan County Constable - Precinct 2:




Alfred Freeman


Background & Relevant Experience:

  • He received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University and his Masters degree in Psychology from the University of the Rockies.

  • He has worked in child and family advocacy for over 26 years, including McLennan County Juvenile Detention, Texas Youth Commission, Child Protective Services, and his current position with Waco ISD as the College Career & Military Readiness Specialist.



Mission:

Maintain the professionalism and integrity that has been established my the current Constable Mr. John Johnson

  • He is a life-long resident of Precinct 2 and a 1995 graduate of Waco High school.

  • He has a track record of achieving goals, effective communications, and a strategic approach that gives him the ability to handle the responsibilities of the office.
